The packaging of your CD may be the last part of the project but it is the first thing the public sees. That first visual impression will say a lot about your level of professionalism. Put as much care into the look of your project as you did the sound.
CDRs burned on p.c.s are not always as reliable as CDRs burned on commercial grade equipment.
Adhesives from paper labels can sometimes dissolve the protective layer of a disc.
Misaligned labels or ones not smooth can cause spinning out of balance.
The weight of labels can cause balance problems in 40x or higher players.
The media used also makes a difference in reliability.
Don’t trust your CD project to someone with a p.c. and a stomper.
